Join Our New Preloved Millinery Service – We Need Your Hats!
Do you have a Beverley Edmondson Millinery hat you still love but don’t wear often? Why let it sit in your wardrobe when it could earn you money and contribute to a more sustainable fashion industry?
We are trialling a new Preloved Millinery Service, giving you the opportunity to sell or hire out your hats, reducing waste and extending the life of beautifully crafted millinery. To launch this service, we’re looking for around 30 pieces of Beverley Edmondson Millinery – from hats to fascinators, classic styles to wild statement pieces – in great condition, across varying styles, colours, and shapes.

At Beverley Edmondson Millinery, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. By investing in timeless, high-quality craftsmanship, we aim to move away from fast fashion and embrace a circular economy where beautiful millinery pieces can be enjoyed for years to come. Our Preloved Millinery Service aligns with this commitment by giving customers the chance to buy or rent exquisite millinery, reducing waste and promoting a more sustainable approach to fashion.
By reusing and repurposing millinery, we can significantly cut down on the environmental impact of mass production and excessive consumption. We believe in slow fashion—encouraging conscious purchasing decisions and making luxury fashion more sustainable and ethical.
How It Works:
✔ Submit Your Hat – Send us images, purchase price, and notes on condition before March 3rd 2025.
✔ Choose Your Option – Let us know if you’d prefer to sell, hire, or both.
✔ We Select a Range – We’ll choose pieces and call them in at the beginning of March.
✔ You Stay in Control – The hats remain your property until sold.
Trial Period & Commission Structure
During this initial trial period, we will be testing and adjusting both the technology to offer this service and our pricing and commission structure, taking on board feedback to create a fair and effective model for both sellers and buyers. Commission amounts may vary as we refine the service.
By submitting your hats, you are not tied to anything, all details will be confirmed before you need to make any commitment.
💰 Estimated Earnings (subject to adjustments):
- Sales: Hats will be listed at approximately 50% of their original price (e.g. a £360 hat would be listed at £180, and you’d receive £108).
- Hire: Owners will receive 50% of the hire fee (e.g. a £360 hat hired for four days at £57.60 would earn you £28.80).
- Security Deposits: We will take deposits for hires to protect your hat’s value.
If this trial is successful, we will expand the service and open up submissions to a wider selection of hats!
Please note our preloved millinery service will be an entirely online service.

-3 clear photographs of the millinery you wish to submit in it’s current condition
-Any notes on the condition (any damage, if it has it’s original box)
-Purchase sales price
-Name and phone number
-If you would like your millinery to be listed for hire, sale or both
-Confirmation that you understand your millinery may not be selected for this trial, (we will be in touch with those who do make the trial by the 5th March and request the millinery to be with us shortly after)
-Any other questions you may have
While we can’t guarantee sales or hires, this is a fantastic way to promote sustainable fashion, reduce waste, and earn from your millinery collection.
