A fun feather course to learn how to make feather fascinators and feather mounts, the skills are useful to incorporate into all types of millinery and can open up new design ideas.
In this workshop you will learn how to make a feather mount which can then be made in to a fascinator or used as a trim on a hat, this versatile technique can be incorporated into many different designs and allow your work to take on a light and 3 dimensional feather effect.
In this afternoon session you will learn feather cutting techniques and how to work with the feathers to combine them to create a mount.
The session is suitable for all abilities from beginners to the world of millinery to the more advanced.
Beverley has been creating feather mounts for over 15 years, in her own personal millinery work but also designing feather mount ranges for millinery wholesalers.
Materials and refreshments will be provided, but please bring with you:
