The ultimate flexible option for those who want to learn the art of millinery either on your own or with a group of friends.
You can choose any discipline from Sinamay hats, cocktail hats, and winter felt hats, silk flower making, fascinator making…. or any other ideas that you have. All I ask is that if you come as a group that everyone follows the same discipline so that the teaching can be coherent for all attendees.
All basic materials supplied, but specific materials/colours may incur extra costs.
Please note that ambitious projects may not be able to be completed in one day and further hours may be required.
£250 per day 10am- 5pm
Or why not bring a friend with you for only £50 extra, two friends for £100 extra or 3 friends for just £135 extra!
Further hours will be chargeable £45 per hour plus £5 for each additional person. Or at the day rate as above if another full day is required.
1-2-1 Tuition is available on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays from 2nd October

This introduction to Sinamay will teach the properties of this popular hat making material. You will be taught dying techniques, how to make leaves and to roll edges which can then be used as trimmings for hats and fascinators.

Our very popular fascinator making class is back again!
A fun and informal 3 hour class where you can make your own fascinator in an evening. This is a less technical class but it allows you to play with different materials to create your own fun headpiece. I will also teach you about the positioning of trimmings and the design process.

Sunday August 28th – 10am- 1pm or Tuesday 25th October *half term week* 10am-1pm or
Thursday 10th November 6.30pm-9.30pm
This two week course shows you how to block using sinamay simple button beret or pillbox shaped hat blocks. In week one you will learn the difference in materials and block your own piece. In week two you will learn how to wire and finish your shape and add a simple trim.
£85 per person

In this introductory class learn the ancient and unique technique of making beaded flowers. You will learn to spin beads, create petals and leaves and discover the process to make a beaded flower.

Sunday 28th August 2.00pm-5.00pm
New for this year this 5 week course will show you how to block using straw and to assemble, wire and bind a Sinamay hat and trim. The perfect opportunity to make your own statement hat.
£250 per person
