We have some news to share today, and I wanted you to hear the full story from us directly.
We Are Relocating
As you may know we have been looking for a new premises. Unfortunately, we have been unable to secure a meaningful lease at our current premises, alongside changes to the business rates has made staying where we are unviable.
We know a lot of you had hoped we would stay in town, or return to the High street, and we understand that. Sadly, between business rates and a lack of suitable locations at a price point that allows the business to thrive, it isn’t something we can make happen right now.
Side note…If this matters to you too, and you would like to see towns thrive with small and independent businesses, we really would encourage you to write to your local MP about business rates, rising costs and the conversion of commercial properties to residential use making life very difficult for the smallest of businesses.
The good news is that we have found a new location, just a couple of miles from our current spot. The timing just hasn’t quite lined up with our current lease ending, so there will be a short gap between the two.
Key Dates:
Thursday 1st October 2026
This will be our last day trading in our current premises.
Bespoke orders can still be placed up to and including this date, and we will arrange any collections beyond this date with you directly. All orders placed up until this time will be honoured, So if you have a winter wedding coming up we will need all bespoke orders placed ahead of 1st October. October 2026 – January 2027
We will be hibernating the business during our quieter winter months, whilst we move out, move in and get settled in the new premises, as there will be quite a bit of work to do!
January 2027
We will reopen at our new location, approximately mid January. We will announce and exact date and the new address details later in the year as well as re-opening our appointment booking system.
We don’t take closing for 3 months lightly, but it’s been a stressful 8 months trying to find a new home that makes sense for our clients and the business. A proper break will help us get ourselves straight and well set up for the new year.
