So Royal Ascot has finally been and gone. Summer is always a busy season for us, with weddings and races galore, but this June really has been the busiest Ascot for us yet! So thanks to all of our customers who shared this year’s Ascot experience with us by styling one of our hats and headpieces. We’re sure you all looked fabulous 😉
We’ve had lots of changes this year which really helped us make this the best Ascot season ever – our new store with its private fitting room has made it much easier for our clients to bring along their outfit to try on with their hat, which has been great. We’ve also had a lot of people getting creative and coming up with their own personal designs, and of course the last minute mad rush for those coming in to buy their headpieces the day before (or even the morning of) the race they are attending!
The heatwave weather the week of Royal Ascot sent a lot of us Brits into panic mode worrying about being too hot, but after a sweltering Tuesday and Wednesday, it did cool off for Beverley’s visit on Thursday. No rain either, which is also good when you’re in a delicate headpiece!
What do you think of Beverley’s outfit? Ascot is a great excuse for a ‘go big or go home’ hat and we think this one definitely lives up to the occasion! There were so many fabulous Ascot hats this year – it really is a fashion event in its own right.
We might be biased, but we definitely think that the gorgeous Heidi, who snapped up our Horse hat just last Saturday, really stole the show this year. So far we’ve seen her working it for the cameras in the Ascot coverage of the Daily Mail, the Express, the Evening Standard and the Yorkshire Post! What do you think? We think she looks great!
So, here are some photos from a wonderful week at Ascot – we hope you all had a lovely time!

And just a few more photos of the big day:
