Futuristic fantasy bridal inspiration shoot - Beverley Edmondson Millinery

On a cold dark January day I set off to London to the amazing Icetank venue. This was the location of one of our most unusual wedding styled shoots, a team of wedding industry suppliers pulling together to create this fantastic collaborative shoot. This pure white ‘box’ venue had the perfect space age feel for the out of this galaxy photoshoot.

It was such a lot of fun working on this shoot, especially as it allowed me to play with materials that I wouldn’t usually get much time to play with. Luckily, I had lots of preparation time so I could really go to town! There was lots of Perspex with help of my friends at Funky Laser and lots of fairy lights, mirrored vinyl and reflective materials!

The shoot itself was such fun to be a part of and to meet some great industry professionals, many of whom I had not met before but had worked remotely with previously, as well as others I have admired in the industry for a long time (thanks to my Instagram feed!) plus a few new faces.

The very talented Emma from Emma Jane Photography, photographed the shoot which was pulled together by Lisa Johnson of Carmela Weddings and Erin Balfour of the fabulous Way Out Wedding blog.

The fairy lights throughout the shoot and he purple and pink lighting added a dramatic edge to the images transporting you to a different world. The headpieces set of the shoot perfectly, my favourite piece being the acrylic crown embedded with screws (and of course anything with fairy lights!).
